Universal Audio Volt 876 USB Audio Interface (8 Preamps / 24-in / 28-out / 1U Rack)
Volt 876 is the flagship of the Volt line: eight digitally controlled mic preamps, each with a Vintage preamp mode inspired by UA’s 610 tube console and an analog 76 compressor based on the 1176 (VOC, GTR and FAST presets) — built for recording a whole band. With 16x16 ADAT you can link up to three Volt 876 units, or use it as an 8x8 preamp expander for Apollo and other ADAT interfaces.
Universal Audio and Volt
Universal Audio (UA) traces its roots to the 1950s, when founder Bill Putnam Sr. built the 610 tube console and the 1176 compressor that remain studio staples today. Volt is built by the same team behind Apollo interfaces, bringing UA analog sound and workflows to an easy-to-use USB interface.
Built for the Whole Band
Built by the team behind Apollo, Volt 876 connects over USB to Mac, Windows, iPad and iPhone, and works with LUNA’s AI-powered recording tools such as Voice Control, Instrument Detection and Tempo Listen.
Included Software
Includes the UAD Volt Studio Bundle with 15+ plug-ins such as the LA-2A and 1176 compressors, Topline Vocal Tune, Showtime ’64 and Lion ’68 guitar amps, Anthem and PolyMAX synths, plus LUNA. Also includes Melodyne Essential, a three-month FL Studio Producer Edition trial and more (subject to change by UA).
