Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6 Metal POWR:D Headless Guitar
Want a guitar for heavy music without a heavy headstock straining your shoulders? Worried about quality on your first headless guitar? The Boden Standard N2.6 Metal POWR:D is the first Standard N2 version of the long-running Boden Metal family. It weighs about 2.3 kg (factory spec), has no neck dive, and brings active .strandberg* POWR:D by Fishman pickups to the Standard line.
Single finish: Black Metallic in acrylic satin, with a jet-black Ebonol fretboard, black satin hardware and a black neck finish. Offered by the factory in limited drops.
N2 curved top for long sessions
The N2 body top follows the curvature of the strings for picking-hand and forearm comfort. With the weight centred in the body, it stays put on a strap and sits easily in classical position.
POWR:D by Fishman, two voices
US-made active .strandberg* POWR:D by Fishman humbuckers with a push-pull tone control: Precision Voice has higher output and a tighter, warmer high-mid focus for high gain, while Dynamic Voice gives medium output and an open, responsive tone.
Titanium-reinforced EndurNeck
The EndurNeck profile supports a natural thumb position and a straighter wrist. Titanium rods in the roasted maple neck make it, per the factory, the strongest .strandberg* neck ever, with more stability, durability and resonance.
25" – 25.5" multi-scale, Arc hardtail
Longer bass strings keep tension and definition, shorter treble strings make bends easier. 24 DHP stainless steel frets, a 20" Ebonol fretboard, a 42 mm nut and the Arc hardtail bridge with string lock give solid tuning and sustain.
