Fulltone CLYDE STANDARD WAH-WAH 頂級 美國手工 娃娃踏板 Wah Pedal 效果器


Wah 效果誕生於 60 年代，由當時一名大樂團的小號手 — 克萊德．麥考伊（Clyde McCoy）所發明。

克萊德．麥考伊在歷史定位上並不是特別偉大的音樂家，卻因為發明了 Muted 式的「Wah Wah」音色而聞名於世，這也直接的促使當時的效果設備製造商 Vox 將這種音色移植到效果器上，並於 1967 年發布了歷史上第一顆娃音效果踏板，與克萊德．麥考伊同名的型號 "Vox Clyde McCoy"。


吉米．亨德里克斯（Jimi Hendrix）、艾瑞克．克萊普頓​（Eric Clapton）當時都使用這款娃音效果器，從艾瑞克．克萊普頓​的專輯 "Electric Ladyland" 保留的文件當中顯示，吉米所使用的型號是 "Vox Signature Wah"，因為效果器的底部有著克萊德．麥考伊的親筆簽名，而另一款則是名為 "Vox Picture Wah" 的型號，其底部有著克萊德的照片。而 Fulltone 的 Clyde Wah 系列踏板就是以音色出眾的 "Vox Signature Wah" 為藍本打造的。


經歷了超過 25 臺頂級 Vintage Vox Wah 的拆解、分析及研究，為了讓音色達到最完美的狀態，讓許多珍貴的 Vintage 感應器因此報廢，最終才誕生出 Fulltone 的 Clyde 系列踏板。


Fulltone 的 Tuned core 感應器全部使用和 60 年代的 Vox Wah 完全相同的線圈，並手工製作而成，Tuned core 成本相當高，但結果證明下重本是值得的。唯一對 60 年代 Vox 設計方案進行的更動是增加了更具實用性 "Resonance Control​"，它是一個專為低頻和增益調節設計的雙向調節旋鈕，無需工具調整，用手轉動即可得到你所需要的最佳音色設定。​

電位器（Potentiometer​，或稱可變電阻器）是電路部分最容易被忽視的部分，卻是製造出色 Wah 效果音色的關鍵之一，從 60 年代以來就一直沒有特別傑出的 Tapered 電位器設計，這也是導致 70、80、 90年代的主流廠商製造的娃音踏板全都是平庸之作的根本原因，而 Fulltone 製造的電位器被命名為 "Fullrange Pot"​，擁有雙層的碳合金塗層軌道，高達 50 萬次的轉動壽命，遠遠超過業間標準的 1 萬 5 千次。​

Fulltone Clyde Standard 內建了真實旁路開關（True-bypass），在關閉效果的時候不會影響到你的音色。現在所有的 Clyde 系列產品都加入了 Booster/Buffer 的控制鈕。其餘詳細規格請參閱官方說明書。
