Fender Champion II 50

Champion is Fender's digital amp line for affordable practice and playing out. In October 2024 Fender introduced the updated Champion II series in three sizes, 25, 50 and 100, keeping the simple, knob-based control of the original and adding new amp voices and effects. As Fender puts it, there are no menus and no apps.

The Champion II 50 sits in the middle of the range, pairing 50 watts with one 12-inch Fender Special Design speaker. According to Fender's official series video, it adds a separate clean channel over the Champion II 25, making it suited to band rehearsals and small gigs; the Champion II 100 adds more power, two speakers and an effects loop.


Two channels and multiple amp voices

Channel 1 is a dedicated clean channel with Volume; Channel 2 offers Gain, Volume and Voice, covering Fender clean and overdrive plus British and modern high-gain voicings. A CH SELECT button switches channels, and an optional two-button footswitch (sold separately) handles channel select and effects on/off.


Built-in effects with TAP

Reverb, delay/echo, chorus, tremolo, Vibratone and more, chosen with FX Select and mixed with FX Level. Delay time and tremolo speed can be set to the song tempo with the TAP button. Master controls are Treble, Bass and Modify.


Practice and connectivity

A 1/8" aux input lets you play along with a phone or player, a 1/8" headphone output allows quiet practice, and there is a rear-panel USB port.
