BOSS新研發PW-3的Rich模式，具有獨特的飽滿哇哇器音色，保留了低頻與飽滿的音色，達到一般傳統哇哇器線路的不足。

想要更傳統的音色嗎？只需將背後面板開關切換至Vintage模式，即可獲得經典的哇哇器聲音。

PW3在縮小機體尺寸時，並沒有如其他踏板一樣地犧牲了使用實感與功能性，它在實用性與表現力之間取得了完美的平衡。

鋁合金壓鑄底座穩固紮實，長而順暢的踏板動作反應靈敏而且使用感絕佳。

縮小尺寸的踏板衍生的另一個問題是，因為被您的腳擋住了而不容易看到效果器的開或關狀態。
