Description
Divitone DSG-20 Modern Dive Smart Electric Guitar (Lunar Pink, Mystic Blue, Haze Green, Pearl White)
The Divitone DSG-20 Modern Dive is a smart electric guitar with amp and effects modeling built right into the instrument. Divitone designed it around the way modern players actually use their guitars: silent headphone practice, mobile recording, livestreaming and stage performance. Switch the smart system on for a complete creative rig inside one guitar, or switch it off and play it as a regular electric guitar. An original MD offset body, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, Custom MD Pro humbuckers, a 2-point tremolo and locking tuners make it equally at home in pop, blues, modern rock and metal.
AI Intelligent Preset System
Describe the sound you want, your playing style or your musical direction, and the AI Intelligent Preset System helps generate tones built around that idea, so you spend less time tweaking and more time playing. Dedicated mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop apps let you fine-tune parameters, choose drum patterns, manage files and explore further functions.
A Complete Rig Inside One Guitar
The built-in smart system offers 134 effects and 100 presets, including classic amp and pedal modeling as well as pickup and guitar simulations (acoustic included), arranged across 9 assignable effect blocks. It supports third-party IRs (5 user slots, 24-bit, 512 samples) and NAM captures, and adds a tuner and a drum machine with 100 rhythm patterns including a metronome (both used through the app). The patented illuminated smart switch works as a standard pickup selector when the smart system is off; when it is on, the same switch instantly recalls your custom presets and tone settings.
Wireless MIDI, USB Audio and 9-Hour Battery
Modern Dive supports both Bluetooth MIDI and USB MIDI for connecting to external gear, software and mobile devices, while Bluetooth also handles audio playback and app control. The USB Type-C port (USB Audio 2.0) acts as a 2-in/2-out audio interface and supports OTG, audio loopback, recording Bluetooth audio and firmware updates. A 1/4" (6.35mm) output and a separate 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone output cover both stage and silent practice. The built-in lithium battery charges in about 2 hours and provides up to 9 hours of playing time, and the guitar can also run on 5V USB power.
Comfortable Body and Modern Hardware
The original MD offset body has refined ergonomic contours, balanced weight distribution and easy upper-fret access. It pairs an okoume body with a bolt-on roasted maple C-shape neck and a rosewood fingerboard with a 12" (305mm) radius, 24 jumbo frets and a 25.5" (648mm) scale. The Custom MD Pro humbuckers are voiced for low noise: the neck pickup brings warmth, clarity and sustain, and the bridge pickup brings punch, definition and attack. A 2-point tremolo with a screw-in arm and brass tremolo block, plus locking tuners for quicker string changes and better tuning stability, round out the hardware. Every finish is a color-shifting finish that changes under stage lighting and on camera.
